Start your day early by catching one of the first shuttle buses to Machu Picchu (you can book the bus here) and, depending on your time slot, witness the first rays of sunlight sweeping across this legendary site. Your guide will lead you to a stunning viewpoint for unforgettable panoramic views of the ruins and surrounding mountains (according to your entrance ticket).
Then, begin your exploration of Machu Picchu following your assigned circuit. Depending on your ticket, you may walk through ancient stone pathways, explore temples and terraces, or admire the site’s impressive design from designated viewpoints.
Your guide will share captivating stories about the site’s construction, history, and rediscovery. After the tour, return to Aguas Calientes, (bus not included – you can book the bus here).
Note: The experience and route within Machu Picchu depend on the type of ticket you purchase.
