Our 14-day program is specially designed for families, couples and groups of friends who wish to have a complete Peruvian experience with trips to Cusco, Puno, Puerto Maldonado, Arequipa and Huacachina, covering the full range of Peruvian geography.
Some of the highlights of these two-week trips include Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Lake Humantay (or Rainbow Mountain) in Cusco; Lake Titicaca in Puno; Tambopata National Reserve in Puerto Maldonado; the Huacachina and Ballestas Islands Oasis in Ica (south of Lima); and the Colca Canyon in Arequipa.

Itinerary
Day 1: WELCOME TO LIMA
Welcome to Peru and Lima! Upon arrival, our local staff will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Miraflores. Depending on your arrival time you can take a City Tour to see the best attractions of the city or explore the surroundings of Miraflores on your own.
Day 2: LIMA – ICA – HUACACHINA
This day we will leave Lima for Ica, where we will visit one of the incredible vineyards in the region to see the production of piscos and wines. In the afternoon we will head to the desert of Huacachina to visit the impressive oasis and do our adventure in buggies and sandboarding in the dunes around the oasis where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset before being dropped off at your hotel.
Day 3: PARACAS – LIMA
In the morning, we will proceed to the port of Paracas where we will board a speedboat for our tour of the Ballestas Islands – natural habitat of hundreds of native and migratory species such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, dolphins, pelicans, among other species. In the afternoon we will make our return trip to the hotel in Lima
Day 4: LIMA – PUERTO MALDONADO – TAMBOPATA
Arrival at Puerto Maldonado airport. Enjoy a 25 minute boat ride to the Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion lodge. Plunge deep into the rainforest with a hike through the Concepcion Forest trails and take a boat ride on the Twilight River as the nocturnal animals begin to awaken.
Day 5: TAMBOPATA
Hike through the rainforest and sail across Lake Sandoval. Walk the Canopy Walkway for panoramic views and observe the secret activity of wildlife under the darkness, exploring the rainforest at night.
Day 6: PUERTO MALDONADO – CUSCO
On this day we depart by boat from our lodge along the river, visiting the Butterfly House, before dropping you off at the airport for your departure flight from Puerto Maldonado to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco our staff will be waiting for you at the airport to take you safely to your hotel. On this day we recommend a good rest and light meals so that your body can better acclimate to the altitude of over 3400m (11100ft) above sea level.
Day 7: CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY – AGUAS CALIENTES
Enjoy a tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas visiting two of the most important historical and cultural centers in the Cusco region: Pisac and Ollantaytambo. In the late afternoon, board the train to Aguas Calientes where you will spend the night before your visit to Machu Picchu.
Day 8: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
On this day you will take the much dreamed-of guided tour of the magical lost city of Machu Picchu, lasting approximately 2 hours – more than enough time to learn the history of this sacred site and take the best photos. After the tour ends, we return to the small town of Aguas Calientes, from where the train leaves for the destination station, and finally our transportation from the station to your hotel in Cusco.
Day 9: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
Get up close to the rare beauty of the Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca, the second most visited destination in the country and one that needs no introduction. It is a mandatory stop for everyone in Cusco on a tour where you can also enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the southern valley of Cusco and observe alpacas and llamas along the way. If you prefer you can change this hike to the Humantay Lake experience.
Day 10: CUSCO – SUN ROUTE – PUNO
On this day we will make our journey towards the city of Puno along the route known as the Sun Route on a tourist bus, making stops at the main historical sites during the trip such as the church of Andayhuallylas, the archeological complex of Rachi and the lithic museum of Pukara.
Day 11: TITICACA LAKE
In the morning we leave the hotel towards the port of Puno to embark on an adventure through the waters of the highest navigable river in the world, where we will visit the islands of Uros and Taquile to see up close how the populations of the floating islands of Lake Titicaca live. In the evening, we board an overnight bus to the city of Arequipa.
Day 12: AREQUIPA
On our City Tour you will learn a little more about the White City as Arequipa is known. You will visit its historic center and the imposing Santa Catalina Monastery, one of the most important religious complexes and a symbol of colonial architecture in Arequipa.
Day 13: COLCA CANYON
This full day tour allows you to see all the main viewpoints of the Colca Canyon, as well as the famous Andean Condors. During this tour you will have the chance to see the pre-Inca terraces along the valley and take pictures with llamas and alpacas. You will also have the option of enjoying the natural hot springs in a nearby town.
Day 14: AREQUIPA – LIMA
At the agreed time, our transportation will stop by your hotel to take you safely to the Arequipa airport, from where your flight to the capital Lima will depart.

FAQ
Accommodation, transfers, and flights are included?
The lodging and transfers in Tambopata are included as part of the tour and cannot be excluded. For the other days, you can choose if you want to hire only the tours or tours + lodging. Flights are not included but we will give you recommendations for airlines and schedules.
Why is the tourist ticket not included?
The Boleto Turístico (tourist ticket) is a personal ticket and is not sold in advance. It must be purchased in Cusco or at the entrance of the visited sites where this ticket is required.

What to do with my luggage during the trip to Machu Picchu?
The maximum volume allowed on the trains is 5 kg per person, so you should travel with as little as possible, as all the rest of your luggage should stay at your hotel in Cusco during the two day trip. If you check out when you travel to Machu Picchu, you can leave your luggage in the hotel’s storage room.
What time will I enter Machu Picchu?
The entrance times for this tour is from 7am on, but it may vary according to ticket availability at the time of booking. Remember: the earlier you make your reservation, the more likely you are to get the best times.
Do I need a yellow fever vaccine to visit the Peruvian Amazon?
The yellow fever vaccine is not required for your entry into Peru but may be required upon your return to your country. For more information, please contact the health authorities in your home country.
Can I reverse the order of the itinerary?
Yes, our itinerary is 100% customizable and you can change the order of visits according to your travel plans and schedule. Please note that some flights are restricted to specific days of the week and this will directly affect your itinerary.

- Cancel your tour 48 hours in advance and be reimbursed for the full amount
of the tour. If you cancel the tour after these 48 hours prior to your tour no
refund will be processed. - The policy to reschedule or to make any amendment allows the update to be
made no more than 5 days prior to the date of your tour and it is valid until
December 30th, 2022. - The itinerary may be subject to changes due to unforeseen circumstances,
beyond the control of the operator, changes without prior notice
